This folder contains an upgrade for the ZU-DES repaint for the Sibwings Saab SafirB for FSX, from 1024x1024 to 2048x2048 textures. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Sibwings.

INSTALLATION

1. Unzip to a temporary location.

2. Make a back-up of your "texture.ZU-DES" folder in your "Sibwings_SAAB_91B_Safir" folder. The 2048 textures are very large, and they may tax your system too much.

3. Copy the contents of this "texture.ZU-DES" folder to your ZU-DES folder in your "Sibwings_SAAB_91B_Safir" folder, overwriting when asked

4. If you do not have this repaint yet, make a copy of any texture file, name it "Texture.ZU-DES" and repeat 3., and post this in the aircraft.cfg file, replacing the x with the next number:

[fltsim.x]
title =91C Safir ZU-DES
sim = safir_B

description =Aircraft 91.394 was a Saab 91C that went to the Ethiopian Air Force in 1960, where it flew as number 141. In the late '90, she came to South Africa with about 16 other Safirs. A few were restored to flying condition, of which ZU-DES is one. She was restored by Des Nel (hence the registration) and has won several EAA South Africa awards for fine restoration and workmanship. This repaint is by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit supplied by SibWings.
